Intesa Sanpaolo has granted a €14 million loan to LVS Group for the construction of two new plants in Termini Imerese, Sicily, for the sorting and recycling of plastic packaging. The plants will have a combined processing capacity of 150,000 tons per year of waste produced on the island, with the ability to handle difficult-to-recover waste such as plasmix.
The funds will also be used for investments in technological innovation to reduce emissions and the environmental impact of the production processes.
